As a biomechanical and Musculo Skeletal Podiatrist, I have dedicated over 15 years of my life to the full time practice and development of Orthotic Manufacture, Orthotic Design and Scanning systems. Each week both myself and my small family team design, manufacture and send out 40 bespoke, digital Orthotics or Custom insoles to other Podiatrists, Surgeons and Physiotherapists across the United Kingdom.

My clinic here in Telford is well established, receiving visits from patients in the west midlands, Worcester, Birmingham, Shrewsbury, Oswestry and Herefordshire for the level of custom orthotics that we are able to produce.

As with any clinical treatment, diagnoses is paramount and then the absolute attention to detail in the design and prescription of each custom medical product. In reality, if custom orthotics are required, then I would consider our service to be the finest available and at an average cost. We are a small company and for that I do not apologise. The Foot Doctors Orthotic clinic is based at our Laboratory www.pmorthotics.com and it is the fact that we run a commercial manufacturing base from here that makes all of the difference. You custom orthotics and insoles are Laser Casted, Prescribed, Designed, Machined on CNC machines, Covered and finished onsite here in Telford. Every detail is attended with Engineering grade software and a practical approach.

In the prescription of orthotics, millimetres matter. My Laboratory was started due to an inability to control the design and manufacturing process when using external sources. At the end of the day, in order to save time and money, labs were sending substandard product out. When you consider the realities of manufacturing a truly bespoke product on a budget, it is easy to see why corners are cut.

With the level of investment and time that I have placed into the systems, I am happy to say that from a medical and biomechanical standpoint, you can not get a better product and service.

Clinically I can never guarantee pain relief, unfortunately my magic wand fails on every occasion! But a straight, honest appraisal and highly competent service is the next best thing, when discussing prescription orthotics.
